This is my second attempt at "Thing 2". I clicked on Save as Draft and then failed to click on publish. How does one find a draft that has been saved; maybe I don't need to be rewriting this.
Blogging is referred as journaling. It will allow me to sit down and do something that I have not done since I was in Middle School. Most days I just do tasks that need to be done at work or around the house not really thinking about relating it to another person.
Sure hope this gets easier!

You draft posts are not lost. You can work on drafts without publishing -- when you are happy with it, then hit the publish button. To find your drafts, click the CUSTOMIZE link at the top right of your blog page. This will take you "behind the curtain". Click on the first tab, POSTING. Here, you can type a new post, or you can click the EDIT POSTS tab. Here, you will see all your posts. From here, you can edit them, delete them (they will be gone forever), or publish a draft that you have been working on. Hope this helps. The key is to remember to hit the SAVE key often and before you close anything. You'll get used to how the Blogger software works as you go -- it will get easier.
I too thought I had lost a post, so this is a great help, thanks Myra. Nice to know we can write, save, think, then post.
I'm impressed that you stuck with it after thinking you'd lost a posting. I'm certain I would have given up and quit the class. ;-) Good for you! As an added bonus, I now know how to retrieve drafts. Thanks! Kim
I think that Myra is a genious! Thank heavens she is our patient leader/teacher!
